While the latest model doesn’t receive a major overhaul, it does introduce a few exciting enhancements to both the interior and exterior for drivers in Darien to enjoy.
The body design of the new Range Rover Velar remains largely the same, retaining its sleek and modern silhouette. However, two notable exterior updates arrive for 2026. A black contrast roof is now available, adding bold visual appeal, and a fresh exterior paint option known as Batumi Gold joins the available color palette. The Range Rover Velar’s minimalist aesthetic continues with sculpted side panels, defined lower-body contours, and sleek, aerodynamic lines. Its double-spoke wheels enhance its athletic stance, while a slender air intake sits beneath striking black mirror caps. Up front, the Range Rover Velar showcases a compact grille featuring a distinctive linear mesh design, flanked by angular LED headlights with bold light bars. Angular vents with metallic accents add flair to the front fascia.
In 2026, the Range Rover Velar lineup includes three trim levels and two available powertrains. The P250 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine delivering 247 horsepower. The P400 features a mild-hybrid 3.0-liter inline-six engine with a robust 394 horsepower. Both engines come standard with all-wheel drive and are paired with a smooth-shifting eight-speed automatic transmission.
