Each of the three trim levels offered in 2026 have different powertrain options. The entry-level S is equipped with a 247-horsepower, turbo 2.0-liter, four-cylinder system. The Dynamic SE is offered with an optional mild-hybrid, turbocharged 2.0-liter, inline-six engine that delivers 395 horsepower. This engine is standard for the top-of-the-line Range Rover Velar Autobiography. All engines come with full-time four-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Select trims are equipped with an adaptive suspension system and additional drive modes. These are the same engines and equipment offered in the 2025 model year.

Appearance

In 2026, the Range Rover Velar debuts fresh styling for the 19-inch to 22-inch wheels. A black contrast roof is also offered as an option for the first time. Inside, the Windsor leather upholstery is more extensive on the Range Rover Velar Autobiography. Otherwise, the Range Rover Velar retains its prowling, modern design. The look is established by smoothly rounded contouring that angles across the sides. The lower sides have an angled, crisp ledge running above black molding. At the front, a rectangular theme comes to life through the grille and LED-underscored headlights. The black bumper is surrounded on three sides by a body-colored element that fades into air inlets.

Features

New features available in 2026 for all trim levels include memory settings with 14-way power-adjusting front seats. Additional features include a wireless internet hotspot, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Pivi Pro infotainment system, and an 11.4-inch touch display screen. Features available in the 2025 and 2026 model years are steering assistance with adaptive cruise control, park assistance, a blind-spot monitor, lane keeping assistance, a head-up display, a surround-view camera, an air purification system, ambient interior lights, heated seats in both rows, a heated windshield, a heated steering wheel, a power liftgate and a Meridian sound system.
